Lise Mari Goosen

At Totalcare, we’re exceptionally proud of our kind and dedicated staff. This month we’re celebrating Lise-Mari Goosen, our Facility Manager. Efficient and hardworking, Lise Marie is always willing to assist and accommodate every request. She does her work thoroughly, meticulously and always with a smile. Lise Marie is also a professional biokineticist, using her impressive skills to help residents with mobility issues and guiding them to live their best lives.

Spring day at Huis Hoëveld

Our wonderful care companions made Huis Hoëveld a blooming affair with flowers and photo frames. Everyone enjoyed tea and cake with our Nursing Services Manager, Nicolette, and our Facility Manager, Erika.

Our kind care companion, Amy, treated residents to creative spring art, while cheerful staff members danced and entertained our residents with plenty of laughs. A sumptuous lunch was prepared by our chef, Darren, and enjoyed by all.

Spring day at La Vie Nouvelle

We launched our Garden Patio on a warm and sunny day to bid farewell to the winter blues. All residents tucked into tasty burgers and chips to the sounds of Ivan on the keyboard. The Directors of Totalcare, Cornel and Max, had a marvellous time mingling with the silver foxes and gorgeous grannies.

Zoë Schutte

Little Zoë Schutte, Shaz’s Granddaughter aged 10, absolutely loves getting involved with the residents. She helped plant some vibrant marigold flowers to match her radiant personality and bright smile!

Cake Day Continued

After the resounding success of our inaugural Cake Day last month, we’ve continued this sweet experience at La Vie Nouvelle and Belenois. On Thursdays, residents are invited by care companions for a tasty slice of cake and some one-on-one companionships. It’s just another way of showing our residents how much we care.
