Leonie was our first employee at Belenois, more than a decade ago, and she has loved and cared for our residents ever since.
Leonie is sympathetic and caring. She is always ready with a listening ear and a soft touch. She knows our residents’ needs and will go out of her way to accommodate their requests. Leonie is kind, and we are so happy to have her as part of the Totalcare team.

A lovely La Vie Nouvelle resident
Susie Heyns was the first resident of La Vie Nouvelle Care Centre in Fourways. After all these years, her presence is still valued at the centre and is loved by all the staff and residents. She was happily married to Nick for 59 years and raised 3 remarkable daughters who regularly come and visit her at La Vie Nouvelle. Susie used to sew, cook and bake like a professional, but now enjoys the served meals at the centre, which allows her to focus on playing cards and spend time with her friends. She loves her home at La Vie and enjoys this season of her life with new friends and the loving care of all at La Vie Nouvelle.

I would like to note the things that really stood out for me: Despite being under difficult circumstances, Mother’s Day was still made very special for the residents of Belle Rio with dress-up hats and stunning pictures in frames so good that I made posters of some of them.
The video tour you sent us explaining my mother’s requirements for adult incontinence products helped make sure we are in agreement. The recommendation to move her from bi-weekly to weekly urine tests gave me a lot of comfort and confidence in your medical care facilities. Her bespoke care plan is always completed and updated to the highest standard.
Wellbeing activities that are now in place with regular outings to the gardens and fun games. Mum was very proud to announce she was captain of one of the ball games! The reading of Tannie Erna’s stories and regular bible study. Keeping us up to date with videos and photos, as well as arranging telephone calls if needed. Managing mum’s weekly Sunday letters. Keeping the same standards and delivering even more after a huge restructuring of the company.
Keeping us informed on COVID-19 and how you control the situation at Belle Rio. Our mother and I believe that all the residents at Belle Rio adore you for being so kind hearted and helping them deal with all their fears and concerns. Thank you also for always making time for us as a family dealing with matters in a very professional way. We would like to thank you for all your hard work and love for our mother. I also think Belle Rio is lucky to have a gem like you around.”
